# ZeroLagHub Brand Direction

Status: approved direction for launch brand exploration.

## Approved direction

Use the Packet Ring direction as the ZeroLagHub brand mark.

Core elements:

- central `Z` lightning bolt as the energy source
- speed streaks feeding into the mark
- segmented orbital ring representing packet/data flow
- 2-3 nodes positioned along the orbit in the direction of motion
- no tagline baked into the logo lockup

## Color spec

Primary gradient:

- `#00E5FF` electric cyan
- `#1A6BFF` cobalt blue
- direction: top-left to bottom-right

The gradient should be reused in Portal UI brand tokens where practical so the logo and product accents feel aligned.

## Variants required

- primary icon + wordmark
- horizontal navbar lockup
- stacked marketing/hero lockup
- icon-only variant
- favicon variant using the `Z` only, no ring/nodes

## Implementation notes

Before final asset implementation:

- verify ring stroke weight is consistent across icon-only, primary, and horizontal lockups
- keep favicon legible at 16x16 and 32x32
- export SVG master files, transparent PNGs, dark-background PNGs, and favicon package
- keep tagline/descriptor in marketing copy only, not in the mark
